Day 3 - 17th December 2008

Hrmm seems like Walking is a good way for a slacker to work my muscles since I can’t run here in London for the moment
Today’s itinerary:
1) St Paul’s Cathedral: Majestic, Awe, Impressive, Timeless.
Paid the entrance fee of 8.4 pounds and went into St Paul’s, the place was very serene indeed kinda reminded me of Cat High’s Chapel just a million times nicer and more impressive with all the carvings and shimmering chandelier and décor all around. If there ever was a place God would wanna stay , I’m guessing it’s there.

Cool words eh

The Red British Phone Booth

Climb up the Whispering Gallery (257 steps), apparently a spiral up the dome of the cathedral, the place was supposed to be able to echo even a whisper and be audible even if u stood 32 metres on the other side DAMN I forgot to try when I was there, and then the Stone Gallery (119 steps MORE) saw a panoramic view of London not too bad. There is a higher gallery called the Golden gallery (530 steps) right at the top of the dome of the cathedral but no luck, closed for refurbishment. The crypt is quite CRYPTIC here at St Paul’s caused all the remains of the people are buried right under the slabs of stone that u stepped on. Who wants to be stepped on after you die?

Xuehui's gonna roll down this flight of stairs

Oh and we cooked lunch in the early morning and had lunch outside St Paul’s Cathedral. Cool stuff

2) The sun was partially setting at 2pm on the London Eye

3) Buckingham Palace: The Queen sure knows how to enjoy

Roast Pigeon

5) HARRODSS HARRODSSSS
